A bit about me..

Jennifer Gelin is a Swedish born Producer based in London. Working on a global scale, she has a solid background versed in TV & commercial projects - featuring a variety of notable creatives and artists like Jeremy Clarkson, David Beckham & FKA Twigs. Jen began working early on following her father's footsteps — notable commercial & documentary film director — by enrolling in the industry as a runner from the young age of 16.

Jumping on the education bandwagon of Film, TV & Journalism, she kicked off her freelance career working with a variety of Swedish production companies to eventually be a part of the growing in-house productions on the agency side, enrolling in the ranks of DDB Sweden, working closely with CEO across Nordic campaigns.

In 2013 Jen moved to London to do her Master Degree at Central Saint Martins. Her examination project was internationally recognised and led her to work with a wide variety of multidisciplinary specialists in fields ranging from environmental research, immersive theatre to underwater filming.

Later on she became a Producer of the first season of The Grand Tour (former Top Gear) which included a number of challenging shoots all over the world.

During the last couple year Jen has produced content for the BBC, Emirates, Netflix, apple, Sky, The British Film Institute, Facebook, Tesla, adidas, twitter, Toyota & Channel 4 and more while simultaneously looking out for interesting documentary/feature projects with a visceral and immersive content that, maybe advocates a sense of empathy towards the environment, oceans and wildlife of the world.

Her short-documentary ‘Dive Tierra Bomba Dive’ was nominated for ‘On the Cusp of Greatness’ Category of 1.4 Awards, Official Selection Environmental Film Festival the Nation’s Capital and Vimeo Staff pick. She is currently in post production/pre-production of two short-films. Her film ‘A Sickness’ launched as a premiere on Short of the Week and has also been showcased on Beyond the Short, Kino, Shorted, and Booooooom. It’s been made an Official Selection at Molins 40th Edition, MonsterFest, and won Best Horror Short Film at the British Short Film Awards as seen in Variety. She’s currently in post production of another short-film, close to heart.

Powered by her experience in running big international shoots under hard pressure and difficult circumstances, Jen is ready to take on productions of any size - working independently and in a team with creative problem solving and competing deadlines.
