Dive Tierra Bomba

A young woman emerges as the environmental leader of her island. She learns to dive, studies marine biology, rallies the fishermen & young people to bring awareness to protecting their marine ecosystem. She inspires those around her with a cision of a more secure future of their island home.

A short-documentary shot in Cartagena & Isla Tierra Bomba, Colombia, October 2019. Together with the directing duo Joya Berrow, Lucy Jane & DoP Jack T-R, we spent 3 intense weeks getting to know the islanders, their fears & joys and spent a lot of time underneath the surface. This project is very close to my heart, as an environmentalist & lover of the ocean, I couldn’t be more proud of this film.
